The Alps to Ocean A20, is a 312 km cycle trail that runs from the base of Aoraki, Mt Cook to Oamaru and the Pacific Ocean. Part of the NZ Cycle Trail network, the trail has only been rideable since last summer so is a great new track to add to your tick list. However, it’s not a track to just turn up and ride. It is long, and in places facilities are limited, so riders really need to do some decent research before jumping on their bikes.
